The Lake of Como & other small lakes

What can you do during your stay?

Our bed and breakfast is in an excellent position to reach not only Como, but also Lecco, Bergamo, Milan, Lugano and the tourist attractions of Lake Como: Bellagio, Varenna, Moltrasio, Vila Carlotta, Villa Melzi, Villa Balbianello, Villa Monastero.

A few km. You can find horse riding centers, cycle paths, nautical activities, mountain walks of various difficulties, golf courses (the Villa d’Este Golf Club is less than 4 km away), walks around the small lakes that surround us.

And you don't risk getting stuck in the traffic of the narrow lakeside streets.

COMO'S LAKE:

LAKE COMO or LARIO, recently defined "THE MOST BEAUTIFUL LAKE IN THE WORLD" by the Huffington Post, is a destination known all over the world, synonymous with quality and serenity.

An idyllic landscape, sometimes wild, where water and sun blend, here where nature is queen, where time seems to have stopped, where the villages have a discreet charm, where the landscape is always surprising and fascinating.

One of the most evocative Italian landscapes praised by the greatest poets (Manzoni-Stendhal-Byron-Liszt ...), which has enchanted artists and travelers over the centuries (Rossini-Verdi-Bellini ...) and which today continues to attract celebrities from the international jet-set, many of which have decided to establish their home there, the location of several famous film sets.

Today Lake Como is considered a real international brand.

We recommend a visit to these UNMISSABLE VILLAS:

- VILLA CARLOTTA - Tremezzo

In the vast garden you can admire trees and plants from all over the world, famous for the 150 varieties of rhododendrons and azaleas.

Characterized by the terraced garden with artistically shaped plants to create a grandiose scenographic effect.

The view from the loggia is unique

Don't forget an unforgettable BOAT TRIP:

We recommend the FIRST BASIN TOUR:

taking advantage of the scheduled service offered by Navigazione Lago di Como, it is possible to make the tour of the first basin by boat with the possibility of intermediate stops, starting from Como and stopping in Cernobbio, Moltrasio, Torno and Blevio.

The boat trip is a romantic and peaceful attraction, which allows you to admire the villages from another perspective and villas that are not very visible from the road.

Of note in Cernobbio: Villa Erba, an architectural jewel built at the end of the 19th century, today an important exhibition center; Villa d’Este, the former residence of Cardinal Tolomeo Gallio, today an elegant luxury hotel famous throughout the world and Villa Pizzo with its splendid gardens.

In Moltrasio: Villa Fontanelle, the residence of the Versace family years ago and Villa Passalacqua, a neoclassical style building with a splendid Italian garden. The village of Torno, with its characteristic marina and finally the sequence of elegant villas of Blevio, among which the original Russian-style Villa Troubetzkoy stands out.

By boat it is possible to go around the whole lake of Como.
